What Are bags of love?

Over the last couple of years we have been working to help the homeless population in the New Orleans area.  While we realize our efforts are just a very small part of the help that is needed we are eager to do what we can to help. In 2018 we served at a food pantry handing out groceries to those in need as well as handing out items to people on the street. In 2019 we handed out 80 sleeping bags and hundreds of pairs of socks and in April we are planning to go back and serve again. We will be working at the Giving Hope food pantry once again as well as making bags of supplies to hand out. Lord willing our trip will be coming up soon and it will be an all day trip. Anyone is welcome to go but be aware it will be physically demanding so make sure you are prepared for a long day of hard work. We will be handing out what we like to call "Bags of Love" to people on the street. These bags will contain several items that will be useful to those receiving them.
