Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup of Sugar

  • ½ Cup of Salted Butter

  • 2 Eggs

  • 2  Cups of All Purpose Flour

  • 1 tsp of Baking Soda

  • 1 Tbsp of Baking Powder

  • 1 Cup of Buttermilk

  • 1 Cup of Chopped Pecans

  • 1 (10oz) Jar of Maraschino Cherries (Drained and Chopped)

  • 1 tsp of Vanilla

  • 1 tsp of Salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Cream sugar and butter in a large bowl.

  3. Add eggs and mix.

  4. Stir in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

  5. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla, cherries, and pecans.

  6. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.

  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.

  8. Cool in pan for 10 minutes then remove and cool.
