Ingredients:

1 Cup of Sugar

½ Cup of Salted Butter
-
2 Eggs
-
2 Cups of All Purpose Flour
-
1 tsp of Baking Soda
-
1 Tbsp of Baking Powder
-
1 Cup of Buttermilk
-
1 Cup of Chopped Pecans
-
1 (10oz) Jar of Maraschino Cherries (Drained and Chopped)
-
1 tsp of Vanilla
-
1 tsp of Salt
Directions:
-
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cream sugar and butter in a large bowl.
-
Add eggs and mix.
-
Stir in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
-
Stir in buttermilk, vanilla, cherries, and pecans.
-
Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
-
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
-
Cool in pan for 10 minutes then remove and cool.
